The planned strike which was supposed to start by midnight yesterday, is cancelled. Hamnarbetarförbundet agreed to the terms suggested by the Swedish Ports, and the conflict is now over.
The conflict is solved
Late afternoon yesterday, the union organization Hamnarbetarförbundet announced that they had agreed on a contract with the employer organization Sveriges Hamnar. This means, that with only a few hours til the strike's planned beginning, the entire strike was called off. The different operations in Swedish ports are therefore free to continue as usual, with Hamnarbetarförbundet connected to a second-hand deal requiring peace and calm disussions when disagreeing.
